INDIANAPOLIS—State Senator John Broden (D-South Bend) has been appointed to serve as ranking Democrat of two Senate standing committees for the first session of the 119th General Assembly: Local Government; and Tax and Fiscal Policy.

Sen. Broden has also been appointed to four additional Senate standing committees: Commerce and Technology; Environmental Affairs; Judiciary; and Utilities.
