INDIANAPOLIS – On Tuesday, the Senate approved Senate Bill (SB) 15, which would allow for cannabidiol treatment for some Hoosiers. State Senator Karen Tallian (D-Portage), a co-author on the legislation, offered the following statement:
“After seven years of authoring legislation to allow for medicinal marijuana in the state, I am pleased by the passage of SB 15, to bring to some relief to ill people in our state.
“I look forward to working with my colleagues, in both chambers, to ensure that this bill continues to move this session, and I hope this starts a broader conversation on medicinal marijuana reform in the state.”
