INDIANAPOLIS – A proposal to help more Hoosier working families gain affordable child care is heading to a Senate panel. Senate Bill 129, authored by State Senator John Broden (D-South Bend) will be heard before the Senate Committee on Family and Children Services Monday, February 9 at 10:30am in the Senate Chamber.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to shed light on this crucial economic development issue,” said Broden. “We know access to quality, affordable child care is directly linked to increased employment. This hearing will be a chance for lawmakers to show working Hoosiers we can craft policies aimed at raising their families’ bottom line.”
