Please see below for important information for Citizens Energy customers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Indiana Energy Assistance Program (EAP) – EAP funds can be applied to natural gas bills for those customers who qualify for financial assistance. Indiana has received about $17 million of new funding for the EAP, a portion of which will be allocated to Central Indiana. The deadline for customers to apply for EAP has been extended until July 31st.
- United Way Winter Assistance Fund – Winter Assistance Fund is providing $500 per customer, a portion of which can be applied to a customer’s water bill.
- Warm Heart Warm Home Foundation – One of our charitable organizations, Warm Heart Warm Home Foundation, provides financial assistance to customers in need.
- Flexible Payment Arrangements – Citizens is establishing payment arrangements with customers, providing them greater flexibility to pay past due bills over an extended period while keeping their service connected.
