INDIANAPOLIS—Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch recently hosted a fireside chat with State Sen. Fady Qaddoura (D-Indianapolis). Click here to watch the video.

“This discussion was a wonderful opportunity to sit down with one of the newest lawmakers in Indiana,” Crouch said. “Senator Qaddoura has quite a well-rounded background, including experience working in state government, and I was glad he came to my office and shared more about his story.”

The discussion between Crouch and Qaddoura was part of the lieutenant governor’s 2021 Fireside Chat Series. Crouch said she wanted to use this platform as an opportunity for Hoosiers to learn more about their lawmakers, the paths that took them to serve on the legislature and to find out more about the interests of Indiana senators and representatives.

Qaddoura is in his first term as a state senator, being elected to the seat in 2020.

“I sincerely appreciate Lt. Gov. Crouch for her leadership as just the fourth woman to hold the office of Lieutenant Governor and I thank her for welcoming me to the Statehouse so warmly,” Qaddoura said. “Her hospitality does not go unnoticed. As Hoosiers, we have much more that brings us together than divides us, and I am thankful to have such a strong working relationship with Lt. Gov. Crouch. It is to the benefit of all of my constituents that we can successfully work across the aisle.”

Qaddoura represents Senate District 30, which consists of portions of Hamilton and Marion counties.
