INDIANAPOLIS –A former resident and student in Marion, Indiana, State Senator Greg Taylor (D-Indianapolis), was recently inducted into the Marion High School (MHS) Hall of Distinction.
“I was deeply honored to be placed in the Hall of Distinction at MHS,” Taylor said. “I am grateful for the education I received and the memorable experiences I was able to share with my classmates during high school. I am proud to represent such a great school and strive to be an inspiration to current and future students.”
MHS awards alumni for their achievements and exceptional contributions to the prestige of Marion Community Schools. Taylor was recognized for his efforts working as an Indiana State Senator since 2008 representing portions of the Indianapolis area that include his former high school.
Apart from the ceremony, Taylor, along with three other newly inducted individuals, enjoyed a tour of the high school and time to catch up with former classmates and faculty.
