INDIANAPOLIS—State Senator Mark Stoops (D-Bloomington) has been appointed to serve as the ranking Democrat of the Senate Environmental Affairs standing committee for the first session of the 119th General Assembly.

Sen. Stoops has also been appointed to five additional Senate standing committees: Appropriations; Education and Career Development; Health and Provider Services; Homeland Security and Transportation; and Veterans Affairs and the Military.
